Retreat Participant Agreement
The Soul Rising Retreat

October 26-29, 2025 | Location: Palmaïa, The House of AïA, Mexico
This agreement (“Agreement”) is made between Global Mindshift Coach (“Host,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) and the undersigned participant (“Participant,” “you,” or “your”).

1. Retreat Overview
You are enrolling in The Soul Rising Retreat, a personal development and wellness experience taking place from October 23 to October 25, 2025. The retreat includes lodging, workshops, and other specified inclusions as detailed on our website and materials.

2. Investment & Payment Terms
Total Retreat Price: $3,222 CAD
Note: Airfare and transportation to the retreat location are not included in the retreat price and are the responsibility of the participant.

Non-Refundable Deposit: A deposit of $1074.00 USD is due at the time of booking and is non-refundable under all circumstances.


Late Payments: Missed payments may result in forfeiture of your retreat spot without refund. A late fee of $50 may be applied per missed payment.


3. What’s Included

10% off treatments booked onsite at the Atlantis Spa (jungle location only).


20% off services pre-booked up to 24 hours before arrival. (Temazcal treatments excluded.)


Group rates for up to 3 nights before or after the retreat dates (based on availability).


Personalized support from the on-site retreat expert coordinator.

4. Refund & Cancellation Policy

By signing this contract, you acknowledge and agree to the refund terms in their entirety.

5. Participant Responsibilities
You agree to:
Presence & Participation
You agree to be fully present during all retreat activities, workshops, and experiences. This includes arriving on time, minimizing distractions, and engaging with an open heart and mind.


Respect for Others
You will treat fellow participants, facilitators, and staff with kindness, compassion, and non-judgment. We hold space for diverse beliefs, backgrounds, and emotional expressions.


Confidentiality
You commit to honoring the confidentiality of all personal stories, experiences, and emotional shares from other participants. What is shared in the retreat remains sacred and private.


Personal Responsibility
You are responsible for your own emotional well-being during the retreat. While support is available, you are expected to communicate your needs clearly and seek guidance when necessary.


Energetic Integrity
You agree to be mindful of your energy and impact within the group space. This includes a willingness to pause, reflect, and recalibrate if requested by facilitators for the greater harmony of the group.


Technology Boundaries
You agree to limit phone and internet use during the retreat to preserve your immersion in the experience. Emergencies will be respected, but we encourage digital disconnection for spiritual reconnection.


Open-Mindedness
You approach all teachings, exercises, and practices with curiosity and a willingness to explore - even if they stretch you outside of your comfort zone.


Responsiveness to Guidance
You agree to follow the guidance of retreat leaders and facilitators, and to honor any boundaries set to maintain safety and group coherence.


Sacred Space Awareness
You agree to treat the retreat location and its environment as sacred - with care, cleanliness, and reverence for the land and others’ personal space.
6. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability
You acknowledge that participation in this retreat involves physical, emotional, and mental activities that carry inherent risks. By signing this agreement, you:
Accept full responsibility for your participation


Release Global Mindshift Coach, its employees, agents, and representatives from all liability, claims, or demands arising out of or in connection with your participation


Agree not to hold us liable for injury, loss, or damage to you or your belongings


7. Medical Disclaimer
This retreat is not a substitute for therapy, medical treatment, or mental health care. If you have or suspect you have a health condition, consult a licensed healthcare provider before attending.

8. Changes & Cancellations by Host
We reserve the right to make changes to the retreat schedule or venue if necessary. In the unlikely event of retreat cancellation by the host, you will receive a full refund of payments made, but we are not responsible for any travel or third-party expenses.

9. Refund & Cancellation Terms (Full Policy)
Your registration for The Soul Rising Retreat represents a commitment — both personally and financially. To protect the integrity of the retreat experience, and due to the nature of advance vendor payments and planning, the following policy applies:
1. Non-Refundable Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of $333 is required to secure your space.


This deposit is non-transferable and non-refundable under any circumstance, including but not limited to scheduling conflicts, personal emergencies, illness, or travel disruptions.


2. Cancellation by Participant
If you choose to cancel your participation in the retreat:
On or before July 15, 2025 – You will receive a refund of all payments made, minus the non-refundable deposit.


Between July 16 and August 15, 2025 – You will receive a 50% refund of the total retreat cost, provided all payments to date have been made.


On or after August 16, 2025 – No refunds will be issued for any reason. You are responsible for the full retreat balance, whether paid in full or on a payment plan.


Please note: If your payment plan is not up to date at the time of cancellation, any outstanding amounts will still be due and legally owed.
3. Transfers
Your retreat spot is not transferable to another person unless approved in writing by our team.


In rare cases where a replacement is accepted, a $150 administrative fee will be charged, and all changes must be finalized no later than September 1, 2025.


4. Cancellation by Host
In the unlikely event that The Soul Rising Retreat is canceled by the host due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, venue issues, minimum attendance not met), all monies paid will be refunded in full, including the deposit.
However, we are not responsible for reimbursement of travel or other personal expenses incurred in preparation for the retreat.
5. Travel & Trip Insurance
We strongly encourage all attendees to purchase comprehensive travel insurance that includes coverage for:
Trip cancellation


Medical expenses


Flight delays or cancellations


Loss of luggage


This protects your investment and ensures peace of mind.

10. Travel & Insurance
Participants are responsible for booking and covering the cost of their own flights and any necessary ground transportation to and from the retreat venue. These costs are not included in the retreat package. We recommend booking travel insurance to protect your investment in case of delays, cancellations, or personal emergencies.

You are responsible for your travel arrangements and costs. We highly recommend obtaining travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances, including cancellation, illness, or weather disruptions.

11. Media Release
Unless you notify us in writing otherwise, you grant permission for photos or videos taken during the retreat to be used in future marketing and promotional materials.

12. Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
